Reflection: Still life is very hard because you can not tell an object to move as you can tell a person. Its also unlike shooting water because it is not in motion so you dont have anything to build off of. I chose to use the spray can, paintbrushes and pallete because they each represent my apreciation for art. Also because it contrasts two different mediums of art. Overall i do not think this picture works because i would like to have been able to get different angles but was held back by the durrounding area that did not allow me to do a non birds eye shot. I would have like to have taken one from lower down, as if i am down where the objects are but could not. I do like the shadows though because they add to the grundge darkness of the black on the pallete and paintbrushes.

Reflection: I like this picture because of the colors. the blue, black & brown of her eyes, in my opinion, are beautiful together. Also i think the shadow beings a dark mysterious angle to the photo. Some things i would do differently are i would want the photo to be closer to the face and eyes in order to see more of the eyes. I think this photo works but it isnt exaclty what i was looking for.
